Working after school and holidays in my family’s San Francisco restaurant taught me the value of an honest day’s work. My first life lesson was my Father pointing out our dishwasher as he rung out the mop with his bare hands. Even though the mopping of floors is a menial task, he went above and beyond to make sure it was done correctly. As a professional chef, I learned how to work along side others in very tense and tumultuous environments while keeping a cool head and full control. While running my catering company, I had the opportunity to design systems and develop relationships with vendors to execute flawless events every time.
